April 18th saw me in Sonoma area. I made plans for brunch and wine tasting with Wendy and James. My first big-girl outing since covid! We brunched in a restaurant!!! My first experience at The Girl and the Fig--which was amazing!! Even though it was a LONG time since eating in a restaurant, that wasn't the reason it was amazing. It was the food and atmosphere. There was only one other couple in the same room as us so plenty of social distancing. THE best part is how adventurous the Gettys are! We ordered a bit of everything and thus got to enjoy a lot of good stuff. Food, cocktails, wine -- ahhhhhhhh, blissss....
Afterward we went to Landmark Vineyards for a scrumptious tasting and a beautiful afternoon before I zoomed off to SF. I got a great "eff you, cancer" red lipstick from Wendy along with some books and a great new hat. It was much needed to keep the sun off my newly shorn head!
